Most natural history museums present Earth history from a secular, evolutionary perspective. Even when the museum accepts a loosely biblical worldview, an old Earth is assumed. Accordingly, the ancient physical evidences that are displayed are interpreted by the museums in light of such perspectives.
Is it possible for Christians to translate the portrayed information into a biblical perspective that will allow them to enjoy the museum and learn useful things about the true history of the world? If so, what information should they have in mind? To answer such questions, Dr. Jeff Miller will lead a field trip to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s McClung Museum of Natural History.
